Kokrine Camps Begin

Incoming staff for High School Camp.

Kokrine Hills Bible Camp will officially begin on Wednesday! Today, Jeff, Billy, and Adam White are taking the Work Camp Staff back and bringing the High School Staff in.

Before and after the kid's camps, Kokrine has several work camps. The people at these work camps are essential for repairing and upgrading the camp. Without them, there would be no Kokrine Hills Bible Camp. For example, after parts of the Camp were wrecked when the Yukon River flooded, a work camp came and fixed everything.

Yesterday, Jeff and Johnathan flew in with three campers from Big Lake. The three girls were the first campers to arrive this year!

Billy was supposed to take one of the girls, but his family was delayed because the engine monitor in the White Cherokee was glitching. After many hours, Billy was finally able to fix it and fly to Kokrine. Jeff was very thankful, because if Billy did not make it yesterday, then today's flying would have taken far longer. God is good!

Over the next month, there will be four camps in total: High School, Discipleship, Junior High, and Elementary Camp. Our entire family will be coming to Kokrine for Elementary Camp.

You can be praying as the staff are getting everything ready for camp today. Tomorrow, the pilots will begin bringing in all of the teenagers. Also, pray that the eyes of the kids' hearts may be enlightened (Eph. 1:18). After all, that is the purpose of these camps.

May & June Events:

Johnathan, Lael, and their friend Allissa went to a gospel training camp and did a Puppetry Workshop for the campers. They showed the campers some puppetry techniques and explained how they could use puppet shows in Good News Clubs. Overall, it was a ton of fun and it went very well. One of their friends said that it was the best part of camp.

Lael just graduated High School and college at the same time with her associate's degree in Biblical Studies. Now, she's planning on getting into farming.

After Kako, the Word got covered in mud. So we got cleaning.

Since we love washing airplanes with friends, Elliana brought her friend Noel to help.
