Next Up: Berry Camp

Last year, a group in the lower '48 made all of the ladies kuspuks — a traditional Alaska native overshirt. The ladies were so excited!

In May, we went to Kako for Family Camp.  And today, our whole family flew to Western Alaska again for the Ladies Berry Picking Retreat at Kako.

Berry Camp is a wonderful time for around forty ladies to laugh, hear the word of God, and pick berries. Many of the ladies do not have blueberries near the villages where they live, so coming to Kako is a huge blessing for them.

You can pray for good weather at Kako, so we can fly everyone in. And that the ladies will be able to relax, have fun, and confide in the other women. Most of all, you can ask God to breathe new life into those who are lost and strengthen the souls of the believers.
